The CM Granulation and fiber removal system is used in crumb rubber production. The system includes a CM Granulator and screening system to remove the fiber. The CM Granulator uses V-Force knife technology to process metal-free rubber and liberate fibrous material to prepare it for separation.
The CM Granulator is utilized in Stage 3 of crumb rubber processing systems. The CM Granulator can process ¾” [19 mm] wire-free rubber into ground rubber that is 4-10 mm in size. During this process, the majority of the nylon fiber is separated from the rubber. Crumb rubber can be used for a variety of products including granulate for field turf, running tracks & molded products, or further processed into fine ground rubber in Stage 4.
