CM Double Deck Disc Screens are designed to classify tire shreds, chips, and other shredded materials into a specific size. Double Deck Disc Screens are effective at coarse sorting, when general sizing is acceptable, and when preparing the material for secondary processing. Their patented, rugged design allows them to perform in difficult environments.

Double deck disc screens are available in multiple sizes from 1 inch to 3 inches  [25 – 76 mm] and can be utilized with all types of shredders. By aggressively agitating and rolling the material, smaller chips are removed by the system while larger chips are conveyed back to the shredder. The screens are operated by a variable frequency drive (VFD). Agitation bars on all shafts and CM’s tipped daisy design make the CM classifiers 25-35% more efficient.

Disc screen classifiers are used with a Primary shredder to achieve uniform sizing of material. A patented, rugged design allows CM classifiers to perform well in difficult environments. CM Disc Screens are specifically designed to size tire shreds, chips and other bulk materials.

The CM Patented Disc Screens highly evolved design is more efficient than other disc screens or vibratory screens. By aggressively agitating and rolling the material, smaller chips have more opportunities to be removed by the system reducing any chance of blinding the screen.

To combat wear, all tipped daisies are made of high quality, hardened steel, this is an exclusive feature of the CM Disc Screen. Double Deck Disc Screens require the same amount of space as Single Deck Disc Screens and are twice as efficient.
