CM Granulators are built specifically for processing materials to a size that can be recycled. The machine has an all-welded frame which utilizes a replaceable wear liner. The rotor is made of wear-resistant steel and the knives and screens are easily accessible through the hydraulically powered access doors. Bearings are located outside of the cutting chamber to ensure years of trouble-free operation.
The CM Granulator can process wire-free rubber less than 3/4″ [19 mm] into crumb rubber that is 4 mm in size. During this process, the majority of the fiber is separated and ready for removal. The CM Granulator is utilized in Stage 3 of crumb rubber processing systems. This material can be further processed into fine ground rubber in Stage 4.
