Glass is infinitely recyclable and can be melted and reused to make new glass products however, only a percentage of glass is recycled in the US. Most recycled glass is used to make cullet, otherwise known as crushed glass. The cullet is mixed with a combination of sand, limestone, and soda ash to make molten glass.
